Finally, the Wayfarer in Stone is to receive the refurbishment that this fabulous site deserves. An extensive building project will bring a contemporary, yet relaxing environment to this country pub and restaurant.

There will be a large bar area where you can take time to sample our range of traditional cask ales, a cocktail or enjoy our home cooked food in casual, relaxed surroundings. Our designers have created a beautiful restaurant where you will want to celebrate with friends and family, have a romantic meal and let our staff make your visit an experience to repeat time after time. A dramatic private dining area will create an ambiance unique to the area..

The Wayfarer menu will combine some English pub favourites, home cooked with fresh ingredients, with our Chef's interpretation of some international classics too. Something for everyone with local aged steaks, fresh seafood and fired pizzas with the freshest toppings. Just like at it's sister pub, the Swan with Two Necks, the sauces, puds and pies will be carefully prepared in our own kitchen. We wouldn't trust anyone else to bring you the finest food!

We've spent lots of time sourcing a varied and interesting wine list so that you can enjoy a glass of refreshing chardonnay on our new terrace after a day at work or maybe a spicy shiraz by the fireplace on a winter evening.
